Lesson 2: - Not so good :(
Finally got my second lesson after a few bad weather cancellations. Today was good although my reactions were not as good as they needed to be. We covered the excercise 4.2 (affects of airspeed, flaps and elevator trim)
Weather was better today, less windy and not as much cloud dodging. We went south of the East Mids for my first time.
James pointed out some of the more key towns/landmarks in an attempt to start my recognition, not sure i took any of it in though as i was concentrating so much on flying (beginners woes). Struggled a bit through the airspeed variations, but adjusting the pitch fast enough etc.
Performed the landing again until the last minute when James had to jump in and pull up.
Definately a bad reaction day! Hope the next lesson is better.
